Dr. Ted Fabian

Dr. Ted Fabian, Le Spa’s physician, provides a full range of injectables and facial esthetics, from Botox to fillers to prescriptive and non-prescriptive skin care products. He earned his MD from Wake Forest University, performed his residency in general surgery at the University of Tennessee, plastic surgery at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, and his fellowship in breast and cosmetic surgery in Baltimore at Johns Hopkins University and Mercy Medical Center. Dr. Fabian is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He has published numerous articles, as well as presented at national conferences, on esthetic and cosmetic surgery. The doctor has had a home on Hilton Head Island since 2010, and has been living here full time since 2016. His wife, Elizabeth Fabian, RN, is a critical care and plastic surgery nurse.


Lourri Norris

Lourri Norris

Lourri certainly learned her way around Le Spa before becoming its manager. She’s been with Le Spa for 16 years, working first as a nail technician for 11 years, then as receptionist. With a background in bookkeeping and office management combined with organizational skills and a love of working with people, she had the skills, as well as experience for management. Lourri says, “Making a client feel welcome and comfortable is the most important thing in my work.” Lourri is also a fan of the Eufora hair products. They make your hair feel and look great!


Linda Young
Hair Stylist, Cosmetologist


Linda enjoys creating hairstyles, and specializes in hair coloring and highlighting. “I listen to what my clients want, and I make their experiences comfortable and relaxing,” she said. She owned her own salon in Thomson, GA before moving to Hilton Head and joining Le Spa for 19 years. She obviously knew what she wanted to do at an early age: she began training at Louis Hair Salon from the time she was in the ninth grade and continued until she graduated and went to Augusta College in Georgia.


Patty Dicicco
Nail Technician


Patty has 29 years experience as a nail technician, including her 3 years with Le Spa. She spent many of those years working in Michigan before moving to Hilton Head Island. She attended Carnegie Institute, and worked as a Medical Assistant for 10 years. She also attended Katria College of Beauty. She said, “This is my best job ever!” Patty loves sharing stories with her clients and learning from them. She also loves dining out, cooking, baking, shopping — and the facials, massages, and the Dermalogica products at Le Spa. “I love it all.”


Linda Test

Linda, a licensed esthetician, has been with Le Spa for one year. She has more than 25 years of experience in professional settings and client services, including her work as a certified optician who helped clients look their best with fashion forward eyewear. Now, she provides skin care and make-up, helping clients on a more personal level. Linda specializes in microdermabrasion, chemical peels, advanced facials, skin tightening techniques, and Dermalogica products. Her favorite service is microdermabrasion, because clients see immediate results. She studied at the Marinello School of Beauty and the International Spa Institute. Linda is bilingual, in Spanish and English.


Christy Konitzer
Esthetician, Massage Therapist

Christy KonitzerChristy has been working in the spa industry for sixteen years. She is a licensed esthetician and licensed massage therapist, as well as a Nationally Board Certified Massage Practitioner and Associate Skin Care Professional. Christy is also a member of the American Massage Therapy Association and certified in CPR. She received her education from the International Spa Institute, Technical College of the Low Country, Boulder College of Massage Therapy and Appalachian State University. Christy has been employed with Le Spa for more than five years. She enjoys living on Hilton Head because of its healthy lifestyle and tranquil beaches. Christy loves music, cooking, working out and spending time with friends and family.


Carey North
Licensed Massage Therapist,
Neuromuscular Massage Therapist


Originally from Virginia, Carey has lived on the island since 1998 and has worked as a massage therapist for the last ten years. He graduated from The Dove Star Institute on Hilton Head Island, which taught the art of Kriya Massage. Kriya Massage is often referred to as a “bodywork dance” in which the practitioner creates “artistic movement” and a massage style unique to each client. During this dance, many different modalities are incorporated into a session, including Swedish, neuromuscular, trigger point, acupressure, and yoga and myofacial manipulations. He believes that massage therapy is a necessary way to not only relieve stress, but to maximize the benefits of any personalized health and wellness experience.


Gordana Zaric Downs
Nationally Certified Massage Therapist/Neuromuscular Therapist

Gordana DownsGordana has 18 years of extensive experience in integrative bodywork techniques. Her expertise includes: deep tissue massage myofacial release, neuromuscular therapy, reflexology and Swedish massage, which she provides in combinations based on each client’s needs. She was a Music Major at Belgrade Music University. She was employed for over 17 years with the US Army in Frankfurt, Germany. In conjunction with a chiropractor, she offered massage therapy for eight years in Augusta, GA. Owned and operated her own massage business for seven years, also in Augusta, GA. She is a certified microbiotic chef and instructor with Kushi Institute. She said, “I use my integrative talent to actively benefit chronically stressed clients, aging baby boomers and others who seek increased mobility and pain relief.”
